Managing Driving Licence Checks

Overview

LEO HR enables you to record and monitor driving licence information for employees who drive as part of their role, helping you maintain accurate records and identify upcoming review dates.

Before you begin

You'll need:

  • Owner, Senior or Manager access
  • An employee record

Step 1 – Open the employee record

From the dashboard, select Employees and open the relevant employee profile.

Step 2 – Record driving licence details

Add the employee's driving licence information, including:

  • Licence number
  • Licence categories
  • Expiry date
  • Check date
  • Any restrictions or endorsements, where appropriate

Step 3 – Save the record

Save the employee record to securely store the driving licence information.

Step 4 – Monitor review dates

Regularly review driving licence records to ensure employees remain authorised to drive for work and any required follow-up checks are completed on time.

Best Practice

Where employees drive company vehicles or drive for work, carry out regular licence checks in line with your organisation's driving policy.
