Using Leo Within a Matter

Overview

Every Matter in Leo HR includes direct access to Ask Leo, allowing you to discuss workplace situations as they develop. Rather than simply recording events, Leo can help you think through the circumstances, consider appropriate next steps and support consistent decision-making throughout the Matter. Leo is your HR expert to lean on.

All conversations remain linked to the Matter, creating a clear record of the guidance provided and the decisions made during the process.

Before you begin

You'll need:

  • An existing Matter
  • Owner, Senior or Manager access (where permitted)

Step 1 – Open a Matter

From the Leo HR dashboard, navigate to Matters and open the relevant Matter.

Step 2 – Open Ask Leo

Within the Matter, select Ask Leo.

You can ask questions at any stage of the Matter.

Step 3 – Discuss the situation

Leo can help you:

  • Review the information available.
  • Consider appropriate next steps.
  • Identify potential risks.
  • Prepare for meetings.
  • Draft workplace correspondence.
  • Maintain a fair and consistent approach throughout the Matter.

Step 4 – Continue the conversation

As the Matter develops, continue using Ask Leo whenever new information becomes available.

Your conversations remain linked to the Matter, providing a chronological record of the support and guidance received.

Matter Bundle

If the Matter is ever required for internal review or external proceedings, Leo HR can generate a Matter Bundle containing the key documents, notes, evidence and conversation history associated with the Matter.

This helps ensure information is organised, accessible and ready when required.
